Please find listed below the summer reading selections for middle school PreAP and GT classes; all Longview ISD PreAP, Honors, and AP English classes require that books be read during the summer for participation in these advanced level classes. PreAP English classes require a strong foundation in reading skills, and students will read extensively throughout the year. It is necessary that students enrolled in the middle school PreAP or Honors classes make a commitment to the summer reading as well as extensive reading during the school year.
