Come support your Longview Lobo swimmers today, January 10th at 6pm at the Longview Aquatic Center. This is our final swim meet of the season in Longview before we move on to compete in District and Regional meets. 

The Recognition Awards Program for Most Improved Lobos for the 3rd six weeks will be today in the Little Theater at 10:15 a.m. Please dismiss these students at 10:00 so they can be in their assigned seats by 10:15 a.m. A list of students has been placed in the classroom of each English teacher and in the hallways. A list has also been emailed to you. 

The Lobo Football Banquet will be held at Mobberly Elevation, located at 625 E. Loop 281 on Thursday, January 17th at 6:30 pm.  TICKETS are $10 and can be purchased at the Athletic office until Wednesday, January 16th.  https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/images/cleardot.gif

Seniors, If you are taking second semester dual credit English, please remember that you need to purchase your textbook.  You may buy those at the Kilgore College--Longview Center.  Ask for the book for English 1302. 

Senior Young Ladies, Do you need a formal?  Zonta Club can help.  You can shop for a formal at no cost to you on Sat., January 26, 2013, from 8-11 a.m.  This event will be at Longview Regional Medical Center Senior Circle, 3000 North 4th.

Mrs. Ray has posted many, many online scholarship applications on the Counseling and Guidance website.  Please go there and read the listings of scholarships for January through May and apply.

Juniors, It's time to plan to take either the ACT or SAT this spring.  Come into the College and Career Center for information about the remaining test dates and how to register.  We will gladly help you register for the tests.

Teachers, please make sure that you have turned in your 3rd six weeks attendance reports for 2nd/6th period to Mrs. Callahan today.  

The Tardy procedure has started.  Students, you have six minutes to get to class.  Anything after that, your teacher will send you directly to the Attendance Office by the main stairway.  Tardies will be handled by this Office and not by your teacher.  Again, tardies will be handled by Mrs. Shirley Works and Ms. Sandra Floyd. 

Teachers, do not release your students for the first ten minutes or the last ten minutes of class unless they have an orange vest and only if it is necessary for them to leave.  If you do not have a vest for your class room, please contact Mr. Brashear as soon as possible. 

This is a reminder to all students that there are cameras positioned every- where on this campus, from the parking areas to all of the buildings……. 

Remember students that if you have a problem, do not try to handle it yourself.  Contact a principal, counselor or teacher.

Congratulations to the Lady Lobo basketball team as they recorded there 14th win of the year as they defeated Tyler Lee on Saturday The JV also got a win for a sweep over Lee. Good luck this week against North Mesquite and Rockwall.
