The lady lobos assured
themselves of a district championship on Friday in exciting fashion by beating
Mesquite Horn in the final seconds of their soccer game. This is the third
district championship in the last four years for the lady lobos. Tuesday night
is the last district game as they travel to play Tyler Lee at 5:30 & 7:00.

Lady Lobo soccer team will host their final home game tonight against Mesquite
Horn. Tonight is senior night and the Lady Lobos can wrap up the district
championship with one game remaining with a win tonight. Come out and support

Looney, Anali Magana, Annel

Ross, Kathryn Vanmeter, as well as the rest of the athletes as they attempt to

Congratulations to the
Junior Varsity softball team on beating Mesquite Horn yesterday. They are
now 2-0 in district. The varsity Lady Lobos took a tough 2-0 loss
yesterday, and are now 1-1 in district. The softball teams' 1st home game
of the season will be tomorrow against the Mesquite Skeeters. JV will
start at 5:30, followed by varsity. Please come out and support!

The
Boys Soccer Team moved one step closer to their 1st District title in 6 Years
two weeks ago. Goals from Seniors Jose Rojas and Mario Lopez secured a
tough win at North Mesquite.
The Lobos had been behind most of the game until a late rally. Sophomores
Leo Perez and Jose Corona played key rolls, along with Seniors Jesus Soto and
Daledier Zamudio.

The
Lady Lobo soccer team will have a make up game tomorrow night, varsity only
against North mesquite.
Kick off is at 5:30 PM at Lobo Stadium.

Coach Clay would like to
say congratulation to the girls and boys track team for a great performance at
the Lobo Relays. The boys Varsity and JV track team finished first overall in
the team standings and the girls varsity and jv finished finished second overall
in team standings. The girls also had a track meet this past weekend in
Atlanta
at the "Running Rabs Relays" where the varsity girls’ mile relay team broke the
track meet record with a time of 4:04.54. Thanks to Jamiya Reese, Alexandria Humble, Lucenda
Webb, and Amber Redic.
