2007-2008 Leadership Opportunities Texas United States Senate Youth Leadership Program (includes $5,000 scholarship.) The Texas United States Senate Youth Program is for high school students who demonstrate leadership and an interest in government. Two Texas junior or senior students are selected. The William Randolph Hearst Foundation pays all expenses for the week-long Washington stay, including transportation, hotel accommodations, and meals. Each delegate is awarded a $5000 college scholarship for undergraduate studies by the Williams Randolph Hearst Foundation.
