Harvard Summer School - For over 40 years Harvard has welcomed high School students into its summer Secondary School Program and they plan to continue this tradition in 2007. Students in all grade levels can choose from among dozens of Harvard Summer School Courses that include acting, creative writing, math, language, astronomy, biology, chemistry, computer science, just to name a few. Students actually take college courses along with Harvard College Students while at the same time meet students from around the world, take part in social/recreational and college prep activities. Most courses are taught on an 8-week format, although there are several 4-week intensive courses. According to program creators, by the time the summer ends you will have grown both as a student and as a person. Tuition & fees range from approximately $3000 to $5000, depending on the courses taken and housing and insurance costs are added to this. However, financial aid is available for students who qualify. Please read further about the cost options at the Harvard Summer School website. You may also view a list of available courses and you can apply for this program at the website.
