New Policy for 2009-2010

In accordance with House Bill 2542, Longview High School will excuse attendance for two days per year for juniors and seniors who are visiting colleges, universities or technical schools. 

These absences will not count against a student's semester test exemptions.

Students MUST bring an official signed college visitation form to their grade level principal to prove their attendance and avoid having the absence count against test exemptions. 

Ask a representative at the college visitation day for the form.
