ERROR MESSAGES

As you continue using the computer, error messages on your system may occur. Please, for the benefit of technical help, complete the following:

  1. Copy down the error message word for word as you see it on your screen.
  2. Note which application is running at the time of the message.
  3. Note exactly what you were doing at the time of the message.

When you have a question or problem with a computer program and the problem is on your screen, press your Print Screen Button.(PntScr) It is on the top row on the right hand side.
  1. Start Microsoft Word.
  2. In a new document, left-click Edit then select Paste.
  3. You will see the screen you copied inserted in the Word document.
  4. You may type or hand write an explanation at the bottom.
  5. Print the Word document with the pasted picture of your problem.
