The two-story academic building can be seen from busy Loop 281, yet the closed campus is a haven for the 2,200 inhabitants who have gathered there to teach and to learn.  Nestled among towering pines on 80 acres, Longview High School is the largest of three high schools in Longview, Texas.  The district wide theme, "Success for All," culminates on this focused campus of 2,200 students.

Longview High School offers unlimited opportunities for Longview students, including more than 300 different course offerings, many of which are unmatched in other Texas high schools across the state.  Excellent educational programs and dedicated leadership, plus city growth have precipitated growth in the Longview ISD and especially at the high school.

The total high school complex consists of the main academic building, a large cafeteria, two gymnasiums, Lobo Stadium, Lobo Coliseum, the Career and Technology Center, practice fields, parking lots, and the Aquatic Center/baseball/soccer complex.

Longview High School is proud of its diversity and offers a variety of programs to meet the needs of all students.  Many transfer into the district to avail themselves of the outstanding programs and course offerings.
