  • Students are sent fine notices and overdue book notices every six weeks.

  • Students are encouraged to pay all fines and lost book fees by the end of school each year.

  • Students are charged replacement costs for all lost books, not the price originally paid for the book.

Computer Use

  • Students must have their ID card to use a library computer.

  • Students are not allowed to check their personal emails, enter chat rooms, download files, play games or music, or visit blogs while on library computers.

  • Student use of the computers is monitored by the librarians and students can be removed from computers for inappropriate use.

  • Students needing to use the computers for school work take precedence over students using them for recreational purposes.

  • Students may print out pages from the computer but must pay five cents for any pages over five per library visit.

  • Students may not print personal pages - only school related materials may be printed.  If personal pages are printed, students will not be given the pages that are printed.

Entering the library

  • All students entering the library must have a pass from the teacher and sign in, unless they are coming with their class and teacher.

  • Students may come to the library before school but must stay in the library until the bell rings for first period.

  • Students may enter the library during lunch without a pass but must sign in indicating their teacher for that period.
