This course introduces the history, development, and philosophy of law enforcement, courts, and corrections systems that make up the criminal justice system. Students will have the opportunity to learn who, what, when and how the criminal justice systems operates within our society. Guest speakers from each of the agencies will enhance each student’s knowledge by sharing their real-life experiences.
50% will come from class participation, pop quizzes, reading assignments and assigned homework.
50% will come from chapter test and special projects.

Note: each student will be required to document in a journal each day. Entries will include activities and all work done that day. If a student is absent on a given day that student will be required to get the information from another student.
