seeking proposals for the installation of 39 complete and turnkey
above-ceiling structured cabling Category 6 network drops to support wireless
access points at various LISD campuses. An RFP is posted to

All Internet circuits at Longview ISD are required to hand off the connection with a standard Ethernet connection. Question: Is LISD willing to consider a proposal for hosted VOIP services to replace your local and long distance service? Answer: LISD is not currently seeking a replacement for District telephony infrastructure. Question: Are five and ten year terms acceptable? Answer: Longview ISD will consider five year contracts. Question: Will LISD consider a proposal for a private dark fiber WAN or 10 GB to each site? Answer: LISD will consider a proposal for either option.
